Paramarth Mandir Jamkhandi
After passing away of Gurudeo, in 1960 under the initiative of the late Bhaurao Apte, -Retd.Dist Judge Jamkhandi a Trust titled 'Shri. Gurudeo Ranade Paramarth Mandir was formed in the honour and remembrance of Gurudeo Ranade.
The trust was registered with the office of the Asst. Charity Commissioner Belgaum under Reg.No. A 1716 Bijapur. The Trust office was housed in the very residential house where Gurudeo was born and where he grew and studied. This house was initially taken on rental basis and in 1976 the Trust purchased this house and modified the old structure into a prayer hall and preserved the rooms where Gurudeo studied and the other room where his mother meditated. Regular daily programme of Meditation, Bhajan, Aarti, Dasabodh pothi reading and weekly pravachan was introduced. Annual Meditation Saptah during the period Jun 29th to July 3rd which marks the birth Anniversary of Gurudeo was also started. During this Jayanti Saptah disciples from Mumbai, Pune, Solapur, Bijapur, Hubli, Bangalore participate. Initially toilet and bathroom facilities were not adequate and therefore majority of lady disciples use to go out to their friends, relatives for the morning chore, Male Sadhakas also had to visit their friends, relatives for this job in view of inadequate facilities and acute shortage of water. These conditions remained till Aug. 1998, since the Trustees in command had limited resources of funds. In 1997. Shri Motilalji Lahoti the then President of the Trust expired. All the concerned disciples of Shri Gurudeo at Nimbal and the Trustees in Power concluded that it is essential to nominate a President who would demonstrate an all round interest in Trust's objects and activities. Shri M N. Khandekar was chosen as a New President on 18th Aug.1998.

After assuming charge by the New President the Trustees have raised funds from the disciples and have already completed in record time significant work such as
- digging of bore well ensuring adequate supply of water
- providing 4 toilets, 4 bath rooms
- provision of drinking water facilities, wash basins adequate lighting.
- prayer hall alter suitably renovated in black granite.
- On 21st June 1999 at 11.00 pm (2300hours) the Paduka Pedestal
was installed in black granite with a provision made for Pradakshna.

During June 29th until July 3rd 1999 Saptah about 80 disciples attended the saptah and every body was comfortably accomodated and not a single disciple had to go out for morning chore.

The Trustees have started from 1999 another saptah - Vaikunth Chaturdashi lasting for 3 days to commemerate the day when Shri Gurudeo was initiated.

In view of the above facilities the number of disciples visiting the Paramarth Mandir Jamkhandi has increased and the need was felt to provide additional floor space to accommodate more disciples. It was therefore decided to construct first floor.

We are pleased to announce that following construction which was undertaken on priority basis to accomodate increased number of disciples visiting Paramarth Mandir during Saptah period has been completed successfully.
